Feathered arms drift overhead in slow arcs, echoing sunlit cloth on a Delhi rooftop—where memory moves like warm wind through drying cotton.
Tides of Summer is rooted in the quiet magic of childhood afternoons on a Delhi rooftop. When I was seven or eight, I would run between damp clothes hanging on the line—ducking beneath sarees and shirts, the sun turning fabric into stained glass, the wind lifting everything into motion. The scent of soap, the brush of cloth against my face, the cooling relief—it was a sensory tide, both grounding and freeing. That memory lingered, and I wanted to recreate its movement, light, and touch.
